Your True Mirror
I can't help but notice, evermore
How often you glance at mirrors
We pass by
In cars, windows, and glass doors
Those of comfort rooms, even from stores
And I can't help but wonder why
Why you often turn to mirrors in your time
And examine your innocent face
Endlessly
If there's a blemish or a grime
If your glamour's at its prime
Yet do you know what I see?
Discard those mirrors, my dear
For my eyes themselves
They reflect your beauty
When your face is near to mine
I wish we could pause this time
As we disregard our every worldly duty
So I'll be your mirror everyday
To reflect the beauty of
You truly are
Tell how you're stunning; not just okay
Help you embrace yourself each way
And to love you purely as you are
