Your Time, You Gave Me
No one else in the whole wide world
Is as thoughtful and true, in what you say
You take the time to give and the time to care;
As you let me, tell you whatever I’m feeling in every way.
I would never, ever change what we did
As I would dearly do it over, again and again
And you will always be dear to me, in a very special way;
So if ever you need a shoulder to cry on, just let me know when.
I would do just that for you, and more
For you taking the time, to talk and be with me
As I don’t know, how much further I would have gone;
Without you being understanding, and wonderful as can be.
And no matter what I say or do
Or wherever I plan to go
If you need me, in my sort of way;
I would never, turn my back on you
