Your the Lifeline To My Heart

My heartbeat will never drop
Or completely flat line stop
You make it feel recharged
Beats were small but now are large
With sensations running through
It's alive when I'm with you
My EKG is just the proof
To show how much I care for you
Lines are happy when your near
And saddened when you disappear
I am hooked up very close
To your love and need a dose
Of it every day to live
Just send it through an IV drip
Right into my lonely heart
Where it can contract and start
To feel better and suspect
The faster you can inject
All the love from you to me
My sadness will be history
Your love will be just the cure
To keep me knowing for sure
The medicine you supply
From your lips and loving eyes
Will not put me on a stretcher
I'll be loving you forever

Keep it beating, but not too fast. You want a steady beating flow that will last. This is quite a write that I see. You have made great strides in writing poetry.
