Every time this issue comes up, demand for more courts, more judges, more resources is raised. Does anyone think of three A’s: adjournments, admissions, and appeals? No one talks of cutting down delays, long affidavits/arguments/counters, long winding judgments. And why should judges have long vacations as in the British time? But no one wants to bell the cat, as this ditty cries out.
