Your Secrets Are Safe With Me
Your secrets are safe, they’re hidden by me,
I’ll shield them away from the glare,
And I will make sure no one ever finds out,
No matter the truth that you share.
You see, during the day, when the sun is aglow,
And everyone might see what you do,
I’ll be the one you can rely safely on,
Stopping the eyes peering through,
Then later at night, when outside is dark,
And the inside is lit like a show,
I will protect, so you can act how you want,
And nobody else will know,
Because I am your drape, hanging silently still,
Blocking you away, out of sight,
Protecting your privacy, closed from the world,
Each day and every night.
