Your Magical Smile

You are wearing your happiness today
And sunshine glimmers wherever you go
Your bright liquid smile takes me far away

Deeper and deeper these sweet waters flow
I am drowning in every word you say
Yet sunshine beckons the deeper I go

To bask in your presence each night, each day
As your tender current draws me under
We are not drowning but diving you say

Into this bliss of sweetest surrender
Into the death of an ignorant past
As those gentle currents draw us under

We surrender our selves to love at last
Reborn now in the light of a new day
Rising in the wake of all that is past

Thankful that fate somehow threw me your way
To be part of your happiness today
Magical how your smile takes me away
To a fairy tale land far, far away.

This poem was so easy-going and flowed extremely well. Usually with terzanelles, they can feel a bit choppy at times. But with this I didn't even notice the repeating lines. VERY nicely done!
