Your Light of Perfection

What exactly is perfection
And who is the judge
We are all born with talents
That is yet to be unveiled

A gift we bring forth
To this world that's full of hate
Either they love what you offer
Or they toss you like scraps

Leaving you in doubt
Of what you have to offer
That's when you yourself
Become your own worst critic

I say let your light shine brightly
No matter who observes
We all have a purpose, it may not be our own
You may just fill a void in someone else's soul

Maybe it's you that was sent to save their life
With your words or creation
In their hour of darkness
You are their light
