Your Heart

here is the deepest secret nobody knows i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart) - ee cummings years I could not see you but I never forgot and told no one that I carried your heart in my heart how I loved you from that first moment torture that we could not be together until many heartaches later raising small children I dreamed of you staring out the window at the snow once twice you called and I was blessed with the gift of your voice but I wanted you I was selfish and trapped within my own prisons making yet I had that picture hidden and you married so long also trapped between mental illness and guilt I had to leave baby was coming I know I broke you never one for patience but always prayer I had to ask god is this all there is? god you know who I love who I need guide me show me he is my love unexplainable things began to move second chances became reality I still carry your heart in my heart as I carried your children under my heart as I hold your soul in my soul and you in my arms.
