Your Heart

I will hug it
hold it
stoke it back to life
I will caress it
finesse it
impress it
wash away your strife.

I will honor it
worship it
love it
put it in a safe place
I will protect it
reassure it
shield it
fill it’s entire place.

I will tease it
please it
ease it
thaw it’s frozen ice
I will warm it
heat it
melt it
never thinking twice.
