Your Hate Has Poisoned Me

O World, your hate has poisoned me

Once I felt that peace was just a shout away
Endless war now seems a single shot away

Once I looked for the good in folks
Now I automatically suspect a hoax

Once I dreamt of nations collaborating on common goals
Now a new arms race has vanquished arms control

Once nations offered land for peace
Not today ~ Will hate and murder ever cease

Nowadays, Gershon, I tend to hope that no country is gonna bomb the living sh*t out of a country in which they have billions of dollars invested. I can’t really see any other reason that we’re not already fixing bayonets.

No they will never cease as long as people exist Gershon. The pain of the two murdered Jews shows that evil will continue to exist

I know...heartbreaking. On and on, endless cycles of needless pain and suffering. No logic, no acceptable motive to most wars...pure evil, no other explanation. Blessings my friend.

Gershon, I read only one way in difficult times, Emunah. Uncertainty of the future is not the enemy, doubt is. -Richard
