Your Hands

I wonder how your hands feel As I watch them work and do How they love, how they speak While at the center of you I wonder if they're stern When giving out advice Or do they lay gentley by When listening to the strife I wonder when you point If it comes across as strange The long thin finger It may look a bit deranged I wonder how your palms feel coffee nestled in them tight Holding on to sanity Is that where they get their might I wonder when you wave goodbye How it makes most people feel I know exactly how And I wonder if I'll heal
