Your Gift

Today you have an opportunity
to take this gift I give
I give it because I love you
My desire is that you live.

Many people will not take it
Some will throw it away
In it there is eternal life
Take this gift today.

This gift you cannot buy it
I don't give it because you're good
I give it because I love you so
That's why I shed My blood.

Robert Pettit January 9, 2012 at 1:59 PM The American Red Cross is always looking for blood donors. If your blood is type "O", then you are considered a universal donor. Regardless of the type the recipient has, type "O" can be taken by anyone. I am type "AB" (the rarest type), and I am a universal recipient. Good poem.
