Notes About The Poem

Your Eyes See Me

you see what is there
the others see what they want
truth...their perspective

they chose their lenses
you see with your naked eye
diamond in the rough

to them I am veiled
layers of misconceptions
their vision is blurred

with you I am me
there's no fear in your presence
YOUR eyes see BEAUTY

Jade

"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder".....
and you have beautiful eyes
for that.....I am grateful!

If I see a woman full of verse and words, I am enthralled with her inner beauty!

I see beauty in your words, your emotions, your imagines you choose to share . . . I have never met you in person but I have tasted the love you have poured into your works -- sweet and delicious! If beauty is in the eye of the beholder -- than I am blessed to see your great beauty LO.

Hi Eileen! I am sure that there are many eyes that see both outer and inner beauty. I pity those who can't see beyond the surface, or else choose to ignore reality. Hugs // paul

wow Eileen... loved this one... and I second your thoughts... people see what they want to see... no one is concerned to know the truth, but at the same time they fail to realise they are blinded... I am glad there is someone with beautiful eyes next to you... hugs, nad ..#7

Thanks, Nadiya. Richard has been a strong hold in my life. I appreciate his friendship. He sees the best in me....Even though we've had our little misunderstandings....it was never enough to break the friendship. :) Thanks for the visit. Hugs

You inspired this, Rick. You know that. The comment on your Mirror poem. I wanted to respond to that, but....decided not to. This is my response. You were the inspiration. Thank you.
