What's on your agenda for today
Before you begin, will you take time to pray
To thank God, the Creator, for a restful night
An that He allowed you to see dawn's early light
He's waiting for you with arms open wide
Don't miss this opportunity because of your pride
The pride that you want to get a lot done
And forget that God gave the life of His Son
The Son who died to save you from sin
Have you opened your heart to let Him come in
If not, take a look at what you possess
Then thank the Lord that you are so Blessed
Now get your day started with praise and thanksgiving
And don't forget to thank Him that you are still living
To spend this day in the presence of God
Knowing you've been where angels have trod
