Your Beauty Is a Lie

I’m losing myself in the truth of all your lies

Now that you’ve come out from behind closed doors

You offer me comfort with open arms, but I refuse to be held by someone as misleading as
you.

You’re like a Rose.

So pretty at first.

But when you get close enough the thorns come out

And your true colors fly.

Tell me something,

Does it make you feel powerful when you steal all traces of beauty from someone?

When you drain the color from a work of art?

I bet you feel like you’re on top of the world with your trophy on your arm.

But you’re about to be pushed off your throne

And your ugly interior is about to become your exterior

So we can all see how Ugly you truly are.
