Your Beautiful Heart
Why do you search for what you already know,
And how far must you run away when you already know where to go,
What outside journeys have the answers to those pains that persist,
And what strength do you need to confront the love that you miss,
Will the tears of toxicity stream from your eyes,
When you finally let go and meet the love of your life,
When you realize that you're accepted as you are,
That this love will never try to change your heart,
And love you no matter what the cost,
And remind you of your beautiful heart.
