Your Arms

Your strong arms encircle

My weakness

Our energy blends and

I melt into you

You think I can provide

Your healing

The truth is only this

Healing you saves me

I need your attention

Confessing

Dark days, dark paths, deep fear

I breathe in our love

Pounding, yearning, restless

When you near

I am left unsteady

As you walk away

I could stand at your side

We can lean

Holding one another

We prevent our fall

I pretend that I am

Strong enough

Waiting, a romantic

Of antiquity
