~Your Thoughts~ (free verse) Your thoughts can make you happy or sad Your mind is a powerful weapon You can use it for evil Or to make with it extraordinary good deeds All depends on you and the way You think of things upon... God gave us all not just a body, but a mind too So we can think and do everyday choices We can also meditate and ponder Our problems and worries God wants us to open our hearts and Refill it with joy and every wonder Our thoughts can be as a double-sword Let's be careful of the things You put in it, you see Nurture your mind everyday With good and happy thoughts too And when you do this you'll be Fine and feel much better too Control your mind because Everything start right up there Sometimes your thoughts can Outweight the wishes of your heart And that's when we need to bring Some balance right from the start Your thoughts can make you happy or sad Sometimes the heart wins And that's when things work you see So controlling our thoughts Is a very good thing to do It'll prepare us better to begin All the things we plan to do.
