Young Yet Old

how am I young
but yet feel so old
have I let myself go
to hide an cave
where shelter is safe
my comfort zone is the best
where I feel in place
I have been stepped on
laughed at
but I look past that
my young soul has turned old
and I cant just look back
I choose to isolate myself
and I know
it isn't healthy
so prove me wrong so I can be wealthy
not with money in cars not with glitter in gold
but with smiles that shimmer with the light
 that's end at the road/
