Young Maiden Part 1
Woke one dreary Sunday morning,
looked out to see it was storming.
Hid my head under the cover,
quietly thinking, I love her.
The music that lasted ‘til two,
and the wine reminds me of you.
Dreamin ‘til I hear a knockin,
someone sets my bed a rockin.
Open mine eyes to see who’s there.
oh, pretty you with soft smooth hair.
You are calling to walk in the park,
yet clouds I say are too dark!
You say you like walking in rain,
try to reason, but it’s in vain.
So together we walk along,
until the rain has come and gone.
