Young Hearts

The sorrows of a soldier’s world
Can be seen in his downcast eyes
The tears that streak his cheeks
Are unable to tell us why
Pain comes from many sources
Weakening a battered soul
Overwhelming visions of darkness
Turn a young heart to old

One soldier said that War gave him a million dollar experience that he wouldn't pay a nickle to repeat. Have a great day
