Young Black King

I am a young black king,

I do not portray myself as someone who sells drugs,

I do not glorify taking another person’s life, because ….

I am a young black king,

I was not born into a family of wealth,

Nor am I pretentious; just thankful for my sanity and health and regardless,

I am a young black king.

No matter the trials or tribulations that I may face,

Could never compare to the years of torment afflicted upon my race and still..

I am a young black king.
