You Were There
When I talked to you, you were there.
When I sang to you, you were there.
When I cried to you, you were there.
When I didn't even see you, you were there.
When my friends died, you were there.
When my family turned away from me,
you were there.
I realized that everytime I have needed you,
you were always there.
