The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

You Still Did

You didn't have to love me
Or tell me you were mine
You didn't have to say, one like me
Was truly hard to find

You didn't have to make me smile
Whenever I would frown
You didn't have to wipe my tears
When I was feeling down

You didn't have to hold me
Till my fears all went away
You didn't have to call my phone
Every single day

You didn't have to comfort me
When all my pain would show
You didn't have to stay with me
Each time I said to go

You didn't have to lie to me
With the things you somehow hid
You didn't have to break my heart
But somehow, you still did
