You Should...

You should have loved me,
For all the things I did.
You should have loved me,
For all the things I said.

You should have realized,
What my heart went through.
You should have noticed,
That I loved you.

You should have taken a moment,
To sit down and ponder,
You should have thought about it,
True love, in all it's wonder.

But you didn't love me,
And all the sacrifices I made.
You didn't love me,
Even when in bed, where we layed.

You didn't realize,
How strongly I cared.
You never even noticed,
How the love made me scared.

You didn't take a moment,
You never sat in dismay.
You should have thought about it,
True love... Something you took away.

Much hurt and being so let down in this heartfelt poem, for so many feelings to run - what guy could run>>James
