- You Reap What You Sow -

   Failing fidelity
   arrogant - promise broken
A tiara of lily of the valley
   The night with
          - deceitful moonlight
Foxtrot is a dance for two

A well written poem highlighting human character. Those arrogant ones. There comes a day when they will rely on someone too.

I like the way each line feels like a snapshot. The mix of imagery and emotion makes it feel thoughtful and layered.

Never produces a good thing, makes life difficult and stressful. I feel for marriages that were not good, but God’s way is the best and produces the greatest fruit.

I agree. Infidelity breaks a person's trust in that person, and it is very hard to repair. Sara K

Dear Anne-Lise, incredibly evocative and haunting. I absolutely love how much emotion and narrative you packed into such a concise space. Oh, the sorry of broken promises. Autumn Blessings, Dear Anne-Lise, Daniel
