You Raised Me Up
When my spirits are down
You know how to turn me around
You told me to lift my eyes to the sky
Because there was inspiration for I
It was faith instilling step out and move on
There is where strength that keeps you strong
When it comes to dance
It is assurance being your advance
When things look weary and I get teary
There is no mystery and God has his own simple theory
Voice with being merciful as a lamb and being a friend you can always talk to
The courage being the wonder
It’s all the aspects from yonder
You raised me up
It is your salvation that fills my cup
But it’s my inner soul in the stir up, and Trust in how I will achieve
It was talent you always knew I had, and you brought it out
I am full of praise and thanks Lord for that joyful shout.
