You Pushed Me Away

You pushed me away And I remained rooted On the spot Drenched, in the pouring rain, Having no strength left in me To even walk away! The winds surging forth saw me, Pitied me And blew me away As easily as they could Lifting me up as if I were a mere Dried up leaf! I landed somewhere else Somewhere where Death is revered As the deity of all life, Since, in the end, He rules all of humankind Even if the latter chooses to remain Blind to its truth! You pushed me away And now If I would see you I would probably not recognise you As there where I fell Is a land powerful enough As to twist and turn my memory Into that which it desires! You pushed me away And I now live solely for Death, In love with it As would be a maiden Waking up to the fresh pulls of her senses At the dawn of her being! You pushed me away And may you enjoy my absence from your life Since my presence Was always some sort of disturbance!
