You Poisoned the Seed and Yet Watched the Plant Grow
You tried to break my heart, you tried for break my mind.
Something unusual and out of place you thought you did find?
You stamped on my innocence when it only begged for your protection.
You laughed at my face when I explained the reason and so did start my rejection.
You scoffed at my dreams to go find a better life. My university education you hated because I’d stepped out of what was your life.
You poisoned the seed and yet then watched the plant grow.
You played with the child of me to prove a point that only you know.
So I became something I was not supposed to be. Trained to kill but not for me, not for you or anyone I know.
All those broken dreams ripped away stem and flower.
All those painful scenes you could control but you never powered.
You grinded the hate for him in to the route of my core. Every second since then I’ve been trying to kill what you born.
I lost me in the madness of my war. I lost me but I will damn well find the person I was before.
