You Never Know

It’s hard to explain
It’s hard to tell,
From the life of one
To the lives of many

There is so much
They all have at stake,

To open their mouths,
Let out what’s in their heart
Would do nothing but tear them apart.

It stays hidden

Unknown to all

Nobody wants to see another fall
But,
You never know
How much one is willing to show –

To give it all up
To show strength most can’t

Given a chance that could be their end

It isn’t easy
Yet,
They’re few who will give up

They fight for their right

Yet,
You’ll never know
When one is in sight.
