You Never Knew What You Did
I cry like everyone else,
I scream and curse you,
Just like they do,
Because it hurts so much more,
Than you ever knew.
You don’t understand the pain I feel,
You don’t realize how much damage you caused.
Outside, I can smile and think nothing of it,
But inside, the tears keep falling,
I keep screaming.
I wanted to hate you,
And shun you,
Because you hurt me.
I wanted you to feel my wrath,
And really see what you’ve done to me.
I want you to feel my pain,
See my tears,
Open your eyes.
You never thought of how I would feel,
You never really knew what you did to me…
