You Me and Her

how is it
when i'm a lone
theres no one

green pastures
of light
grace my
face
as i lean pass
the window

ready to love
not yet ready to give my heart
once afraid
now fearless

i met her before you
but she didn't respond
she saw me with you
she kind of lost her
mind.

somehow found my
number. which before
i guess was hard to find
with you i'm happy
with her. we argue all the time

i guess she didn't know
the good man she had
until it maid
another women shine.
