You Know

It's not something you can touch, yet I'm always feeling it everywhere. It's not something you can see, and yet my senses are indulged to their max. It's not something you can smell or taste, nor hear, nor grow. It's just there, everywhere. It's not something you can buy, or steal, or get given as a gift. And its not something that can get stolen, broken or lost. Well maybe lost, but it seems to always find its way back. It doesn't fall form the sky, nor get dug from the earth, or even plucked from a tree. It's just everywhere. It's not anything you think it is. It's just you and me. I know what it is, but you don't, you won't, not until you understand how much you mean to me. Not until you can feel it, see it, taste it, hear it and smell it all at once. You have to engulf yourself in it. Unleash your senses, and be one with it as I have. The only way you'll ever understand is if you were to take my place, cry like me, laugh like me, play like me, be me, love me. Love me. As I do you, then you will understand. And I will be you, run like you, ride like you, smile like you, kiss like you, love like you, love you. Love all of you. And then perhaps I will understand better, why only we have this, this... connection. A spiritual, sensual, mental and physical attraction. Something that blossoms and develops the senses so- should be illegal, or perhaps the law too understands what it means to love. To lose yourself in the moment, feelings and thoughts, and hopes and dreams, so massive in their entirety, so powerful and pure they could condemn God to the firey pits of hell as it were. So condemn us, We are no more God than anyone else in this unruly world, but we have got one truly unholy attribute that would make even the big man himself envious. We have us, I have you, and you have me. Always and forever, just you and me. You know.
