You Hold the Key
You feel trapped
Locked in a desolate world on your own
Stuck inside a troubled mind
Feeling lost, wandering alone
You wonder how this happened
You ask, “why me?”
All the confusion; the pressure
The unbridled stress and anxiety
But there's good news in this world
The battle, is not you
It's the thoughts in your mind
The problem, is you thought they were true
So listen, don't attach to the words
Now clarify the pictures you see
New perspectives emerge
Images inline with reality
The internal world can be traumatic
It can appear to be callus and unkind
But when you realize you are holding the key
Liberation, is just a matter of unlocking your mind
