'you Have To Get Up'

You have to keep fighting, you have to get up

It is so important that you do not give up

This is gonna feel like you're walking the plank

But you must believe you've got enough in the tank

This will be the toughest thing you'll ever have to do

Generate the belief inside your mind to see this through

I've been where you are right now, I've also been to hell

My reward for fighting my way out was once again becoming well

I know what you are going through, I have felt the pain

If you fight back you won't have to feel like that again

Repeat after me

"I make this promise to myself"

"I will never stop fighting for my mental health"

I have made this oath, I will always fight for you

I will help you to achieve the all important breakthrough

Your illness is tough so you must be tougher

Take my hand, fight by my side, no longer shall you suffer

You can't run from depression, my friend's it must be tackled

It will retreat because it's a coward, this will free you from the shackles

During my whole experience there is one thing I have learned

For you to become well, you must work hard, it must be earned

Don't get overwhelmed, take it day by day

Trust me when I say this, everything will be ok

Are you prepared, are you ready for this fight

Take my hand my friend, let's head towards the light
