You Could Be the King of Kindle
You could be the King of Kindle
if you motivate yourself and mingle,
or you can stay sad and you can stay single,
people have the power that's the principal.
Though this skill grows I'm yet to reach the summit,
it'll grow and improve until I'm a published poet.
I have a drive that will cease to plummet
and I don't care I'll get there I just know it.
I've been writing for seven months now,
and trust me I'm not even at the brow.
I'll embrace ignorance and shut out the doubt,
my path has been chosen lets go walkabout.
I might seem arrogant and full of myself,
slightly insane without fit mental health,
but if I did marshall arts I'd become black belt,
if in love my words would make hearts melt.
I can be sensitive,
I can be aggressive,
I can impress or leave you mythed,
but I don't really care 'cus I've got a gift.
I don't excel at the nine to five,
I have days off or leave early and skive.
It's not for me this common ride,
the monotony of it kills me inside.
Why look to the floor when you can look to the skies,
if the floor's your ambition then move your eyes.
Creatures grew wings and up they'd rise,
so try to fly if it takes a million tries.
Failure is just the teaching of a lesson by life,
and you would find a way if you had to survive.
You can fly up and out of sight and reach a height
above what you thought you might.
If you don't aim,
because your eyes are on the drain,
then your life will stay the same,
and to me that life is a life most lame.
Reach for the fantasy that lives in the brain,
and don't worry if it makes you look insane.
Just lose yourself in the idea of fortune and fame
and one day in the hall of fame will be your name.
Then you can say I was always sane,
but unlike others I let the ambition engrain.
Allow others to ski down the slope and be content,
while you struggle up towards the accomplishment.
Because if you took a chance and you tried,
while others didn't so the chance was denied,
then you can hold your head up with pride
because unlike them you were not one to hide.
Words are words and words are wise,
but if you sit and dream the dream will subside.
So be active and actually reach for the prize
because without the effort the dream only dies.
Life is a game of guts so go for the gamble,
don't be a tool and get used like a sandal.
You can either fall down towards failure like a fool
or become successful if you stand up tall and duel.
