You Can Be

We all dream of a better world
Than the one we live in
We all strive for peace and love
Most just afraid to take the lead
It's going to be worse
Before it gets better
What we truly need
Is a life saving hero
Do you think it could be you
You can be the listening ear
When there's something important
that needs heard
You can be the helping hands
when there is to much work
You can be the lantern
That leads the world out of the dark
You can be the faith in a world
Where many have lost hope
You can be the life jacket
In a world that would drown
It only takes one tiny ember
To start a fire to keep warm
One tiny flicker
One tiny spark
One single person saying
I refuse to give up
Do it with courage
Do it with grace
Do it for our world
She deserves to be saved
