You Breathe Life Into Me

I hear you breathe in the wee hours of dawn.
Your hand's laid gently upon my pillow.
I'm lost in this sound as I stifle a yawn.
You sound like a breeze in the weeping willow.

As I watch you sleep I listen for more;
the sweet sound as your breath exhales.
Like a soothing wave lapping against the shore
the peace it gives me never fails.

You came to me in the nick of time;
took away my fear and sorrow.
Now there's no mountain we can't climb.
We're looking at a bright tomorrow.

These thoughts drift to me as I watch you dream
and place my hand upon your heart.
You're just as breathtaking as you seem.
No wonder I've adored you from the start!
