You Are What I Need

jesus of Nazareth
I need you to resurrect
and lift this hex
set out by the best of the worst,
amongst the rest

I need to rest
and take a deep breath
while I incline this steep slope of life

at the summit
ill summon you
and submit my resume

I feel semi-godly
I hardly feel human

love don't make sense no more
after these four years without you

I doubt you
believe in my existence

at this constant speed I'm travelling at
I need to reflect back to my..
good deeds

and water the seed
that's been planted near the bank of my...
soul
