you are still warm to me

When I am out I hope to pass you on the street I hope you look at me and see me for what I am what I was to you I hope you lock eyes with me and feel a softness take over you that you just didn't notice before When I am out I am afraid of passing you on the street because I will feel the warmth I will feel the softness that you brought out of me And I will finally see the truth that you won't because you never did and never will
