Democracy was paid for in currency costing millions of lives. Churchill stood for democracy. What the hell do this lot stand for?
We did fight on the beaches. We with our allies
won the war.
We fought for democracy, for peace forevermore.
Churchill held a nation in his palm and swore we’d
never surrender.
But that was not peace time that was war and his
grit and guile we will always remember.
They’ve called on characteristics of that time,
stealing thoughts from great minds bent on defending
nations. This insults the memory of those who died
fighting for peace amongst all nations.
We, this nation lost so many lives defending democracy
and freedom.
A government that not only tells us lies now thinks to
defy the law of our great nation.
Democracy was so hard earned, fascism was turned
away from the shores of this nation.
For the memory of all those lives who died we must
hold democracy and freedom in our hearts and minds
and never extinguish the fires of these burning lights.
Burning lights that gave all colours and cultures salvation
in this our truly great British nation.
