You Are My Song
In the stillness of the night
I hear your breathing
see your halo
which as with all angels
does not diminish with time
but empowers me to see reflected
the wondrous glories of you-
At sunrise I hear your song
which whispers to the Heavens
" I love you"
All of creation must know
the beauty of your sweet soul
which is my salvation and saving grace-
Throughout the day I watch you
our life together so beautiful, so perfect
and I realize that even the stars in
Heaven could not shine as brightly
as our love-
Sunset remains and it sets within
your eyes
my whole world, everything to me
keeper of love and sweet death
for into your arms I die-
