You Are My Family

Family is just a word, That has no meaning, I thought they would fight for me, That They would love me, But in reality they only want money. Father, Mother, Sister Brother, Just cold words on a piece of paper. Recently, a revelation has occurred and, My life is now being seen thru new eyes. A real family are those who show up, And love you for who you are, No DNA necessary. Family are those you call on and they come, Running no questions asked. My Family you can always rely on. This family, My Family will always have my back. You will forever be in my heart, Because you are My Family.

Hello Okegirlsrock, I remember my husbands family. They were good to me until my husband passed. Then they turned on me. My husband onl wanted to travel. So that is where all his money went. Wne he passed in 2016 His family wanted me to give them money. I had no money to give them. They acted this way because my husband said I had money to give which I did not.

As you know I got sick and I'm just now being able to walk again like a babe in the woods. For the longest my relative was caring for me and it wasn't good and recently found out it was all about the money. I'm sorry u had to have such a bad experience with your family.Thank your for sharing your story.
