You Are Home

Mother's arms reach across any distance. Your breath becomes her heartbeat. Love flows like morning light through eyes that see all of you. In your blood runs love, steady as sleep, bright as stars. Birds call your name in gardens you've never seen. Flowers wait, remembering your small hands. Old songs echo forward you inherit belonging like breath. Past, present, future the world turns toward the light you carry. Home is not walls but the rhythm that calls you back to yourself.
