You Are Amazing
If in life every eventuality was certain
and taking risks were never needed.
Then as a race,
we would've failed
but we conquered and succeeded.
Humankind are of the mind
to improve and never stop learning,
it's with this desire
that we created fire
and the wheel that never stops turning.
Our medical advances
know no bounds,
we've learnt to cure diseases,
we have made vaccines and medicines
that help cure coughs and sneezes.
I'm a miracle of nature
and everyone else is too,
our bodies sometimes repair themselves
after the ravages
we put them through.
So,stop and look at each other
with amazement and with awe
and realise that you are the best,
better than all that came before.
