You and Me
I may never know your name.
I may never know your pain.
I may never know you, perhaps that’s a shame?
I may never see you smile, see you dance or walk down the isle.
I may never hear you cry or comfort you when you need comforting eyes.
I may never know how you feel, what you see or how you be.
So I take this shot in the dark.
I hope that you’re free.
I hope that you’re happy.
I hope that you’re healthy and if not now soon will be.
I hope that you’re life is what you want it to be.
I hope that you’re world is full of love.
I hope that you are loved and loved constantly.
Even though you don’t know me I’d hope that you’d hope the same for me.
