You

You
You cannot hide
From what's true
Watch your words
Flowing from your mouth
Before it comes true
You cannot hide
From what has slipped
From your lips

Such a beautiful write, yeah it s truth that word are the most common thing but still they hold so much importance, only one single word can cause conflict, wars anything between anyone, these words are things that bring to people together( love) and later they became the cause of conflicts and even sometime divorce because the opponent in anger sometime say something that he/she shouldn t have and that doesn t even meant to him/ her but still it cause destruction

There was an old story about the feathers of a pillow being released on the top of a mountain as an exercise. Then the person was asked to get each one and put them back.

Yes a careless word cannot be retrieved. Like a cyber signal it will keep rotating around the universe. Well written...Maria

Words can not be retrieved; once spoken, good or bad consequences have to be faced. Your poem is an eye-opener, Debbie! Regards // paul
