You

I walk slowly through the garden
swirling colors of deep blues and white
my arms stretch out to drink in the sun
dancing on the ripples of a blue sky ocean
the cool breeze running through my fingers;
gazing on the beauty before me
reflecting off the sparkling ocean
I know, baby, that you are near,
we are always together, yet we're apart
my eyes take in the incredible view,
you are as delicate as a dessert
as fine as a star
you are a subtle smile
I think about in my day
I crave to embrace you, to feel you
let me see you, hear you
you are a gentle whisper
I try to understand
the nights brings light in my eyes, a song to my heart
my dreams are for a waking eye, because you are mine
