Walked a tight rope love, 
you and I
 as if we couldn't tell 
sky above
nor ground below..   

Stayed all Sunday,
called in sick on Monday
but still sent it well
yeah,
seems a sickness was in the air
we didn't care.

Didn't ask to go down this road,
no, just walk, promised myself I would
not like before..
even though I thought I learned
take the bad with the good.

Holding me, tight
the best thing 
I ever knew
never wanted to never say,
don't know what I mean, just that
 I need you.
