You

In breathy whispers, in clueless sighs In gentle shivers, in shallow gasps In soundless mirth and in peals of laughter In explosive anger and in excruciating grief I see you I feel you Wishing you were real, not a figment of my imagination For every day that passes by I'm swamped by your thoughts My hurricane Katrina My halcyon tide I close my eyes, smiling. Knowing, that I'll meet you on the other side I see you in everything around me And I feel you in nothing at all The ghost of your lips on mine Your phantom fingers on my hair You are the butterflies in my stomach The waterfall in my head You are the fire blazing behind my eyes The starry mesh in my heart My Aurora Borealis Do we belong with each other? Answer, I wouldn't know But how beautiful is that I write all this As I know, You are the beauty I see in every verse
